Amazing! So lovely, my exmoor took two years to finely trust me enough to lie down in my presence. She was wild on the moor and had been hot branded previously before I got her so she hated humans when I got her! Brilliant that they are all so relaxed. Love it

This clip shows the intelligence of the Exmoor ponies!! This is keeping them cool and keeping the Midge's, Mozzies and other flying biters Off them!! My Exmoor Teacher and Friend, was just as smart and would get into the Beck to avoid the Blackflies that'd be biting lumps out of him otherwise!! My Fell pony didn't get bothered by them, and the Shetland pony would lay down to Stop them biting him,.. but my Ash, the Exmoor was happy to wade into the Beck, especially during "Peak Biting" times, and would also make sure that he was absolutely muddy, and I Think it was part of his Fly Treatment!! This Autumn,, I will be there to attend the auction,,,as we will be happy to bring Three colts, and hopefully an aged Mare, we would like to keep some Friends together, and as I am not going to be breeding,, also I would prefer not to have Branding done?! Freeze brands would be much better, although an aged Mare we understand would be already multiple branded... I've emailed the wonderful project,as we would like to assist in any way we can?! Awesome!! And funny! (But, don't tell Karisimba and Bessie that I was Laughing!!) They're looking so well,spring grasses and plants are great,full of the essential nutrition/minerals/trace elements.. but, not too rich,-causing laminitis!! Thank you,as always for the tireless work you're doing for this incredible natural and ancient breed! When I heard about problems due to DNA testing/passporting ,my heart hit my boots! Thank You so much to Dawn Wescotts Family, Without you and your family, helping in so many ways,putting in the time,rescources and hard work, the Exmoor ponies futures were bleak!! I owe a debt of gratitude,to my Exmoor pony and Dawn Wescott for being their Spokesperson!! Dear Dawn, This winter sent me a bit of a health set-back,,, however,I am still keen to help in as many ways as I am able!! And ,as promised,,you'll be receiving an email from me,ASAP(-possibly even sooner,Lol!) Andrea and Jasper. ..XxX..

Thank you so very much for taking the time to make and upload this!! Ive been waiting to see Lady Luna,and wasnt disappointed, her Exmoor genes are obvious,even though she is a cross bred Exmoor!! As she is thriving!! My Exmoor gelding, Taught me,that humans need to Learn to work With our equine friends,,,,and So much more as well.. Now,,,coming up to the New year,Im going to keep things upbeat and positive! Despite,very sadly, my mother selling Ashers, whilst I was out at work,,, I Bless Each & Every day of each Year of Our Decade Together!! I "rescued" him,,,however, (As is often the case,) Truly it was he whom Rescued me,!! Even nowadays,,, if I am down, all I have to do is think about his antics, with his acutely pronounced sense of humour and superb presence ,kindness and intelligence!! Having heard,often about every single one of the animals i within my life, That it has been especially due to everything I had told him,,, about Ash the Exmoor pony, that has captivated him! ( he wasnt interested in horses beforehand,,,due to a City upbringing!) Ashers positivity positively means that my Hubby and myself are very keen to do as much as possible, so as to help you to assist this ancient breed ,,to continue thriving! Although I must be honest, ,much of this is because of my dream/goal of again being "Owned" by Exmoor ponys yet again!!

Thank you so very much for caring for,and preserving this amazing ancient breed!! They are supremely intelligent,and handled gently,with common sense and patience,they are incredibly loyal,friendly and lively!! Incredibley good natured,when handled kindly. Forward moving without being silly, I miss my Exmoor gelding,he was from herd 11,with a diamond. (,but very difficult to make out the branding,this was before passports,chips and freeze branding....) He was such a character,always up for an adventure with me,my best friend,companion and Teacher. By five years he was going really well,driving as well as ridden. My heart broke,on the day I came home from work, Sadly to find that my mother had sold him,to a stranger. This ancient breed,so hardy, intelligent and beautiful must not be lost to history, and Im so glad to see these Exmoor ponies thriving in their natural habitat! XxX.

Thank you so much for this beautifully healthy herd of Exmoor ponies!! I was much blessed,when I was young,to be owned,by a wonderful gelding,he was so incredibly intelligent,beautiful and hardy!! He was so Teddy bear like,during winter!! it took much gentle patience at first,but once he trusted me,we became soul mates,he was my best friend and my teacher!! at four years old,I backed him,and he was great to ride and drive by five years old, he wouldnt have a bit,and I didnt use blinkers either. however this was his choice,and he went well,always forward going,but never daft!! He was eight years old,when my heart broke,,, whilst I was at work,my mother sold him,tack,flatcart,everything,,to a stranger. That was over thirty years ago.... I live near the Lale District,and I Promised myself,as soon as Im able to afford two or four exmoor geldings,to gently bring on,as camping companions for my husband and me!! As these are the best,most intelligent,characterful, ponies in the world! Again, thank you so much for keeping this amazing breed of our ancient pony,safe and well. XxX.
